Tailorship tells the story of a young man struggling to be a good person in a world of violence, oppression, and on the brink of worldwide war. A Merfolk boy called Anton Albrecht rallies his friends to join him in finding a way to reverse the Merfolk Crown’s procedure of “de-tailing” newly born peasant children. They hear about a group of people running something called a Tailorship, rumored to sail the sea as they please, restoring missing tails to people of all kinds… especially the unlucky Merfolk. As the quest to find the Tailor crew goes on, they find out that all three world powers—the Merfolk, the Welkins, and the Landwalkers—are searching for the mysterious Tailorship as well. The balance of the world is beginning to crumble with Anton at its center. What is the Tailorship, and what power does it have to bring the world’s leaders to their knees?
